Just in case people were wondering what it's like to have ptsd. These images if not the more grotesque aspects of your deployment, or whatever the trauma that is holding onto you, when you hear certain triggers such as a certain song you may have heard while over there or any trigger. Your not coherent though in the midst of an attack. So if you ever have someone around you that you know has ptsd or a tbi. Don't try and snap them out of it you will make it worse. The best thing you can do is continue with what you were normally doing because the more calm of an environment the person is in they will come to alot easier than if everyone is freaking out.
